  • CIA Headers will be here in a few weeks - questions

They should be here by the first of may.

    Questions:

Will I throw an SES Code? Either way, I have an 02 Simm from Scott Black on the way as I type. Should that fix the light if one were to appear?

What should I do with the cat? I only have about 4K miles on the car so its not like its clogged or anything, but I'm all about better performance.

Do I need bigger flanges or bigger bolts for any of the piping? I am gonna order some of those Stage 8 locking fasteners probably.

    Any comments/suggestions?

    Thanks

Hey Cale! Mine will be here in awhile as well, I bought them off of 10secdream for a steal of a price. At least this time i'll have a frikkin Y pipe.

Those locker bolts would be a good idea but I personally don't think they will be as necessary as if you went with the RKsport headers. CIA's are much higher quality as we all know.

The only SES code I'd imagine you would throw would be fixed by the o2 sim (let me know when you get that!) And as for the cat? Well..... that is up to you. Mine is gone and i don't regret it one bit. And you already have the o2 sim coming so you won't have to worry about any other SES codes. The flanges will be fine, again because of the superb quality.

    Hope this helps!

Yea, that helps Scott. Thanks :)

Hey Scott - is there anyway I could get a hold of some sort of a tracking number or something? It's Friday and that package still hasn't came. Even through US Mail it shoudl've been here by now. If it's not here tomorrow I'm worried that its been lost.

scott, i was saying if you decided not to mod your car anymore and get rid of those headers, i would take them off your hands.
