laugh it up if you want... then ask yourself why you ice your intake at the track?

think about it, the piping for you cai is just an extension of your intake and if it is being heated then the heat transfers to the air on the inside of the piping also.

Turbulant air heats up and that is the main reason for the design of CAI, to straighten the piping as much as possible so the flow is nice and smooth and not turbulant. The less bends in the piping AND access to cold air outside the engine bay is a plus.

But yes if your intake is hot, or the piping/tube for you cold air intake then YES the heat of that pipe will transfer to the air on the inside and outside of that pipe.
