  • Pacesetter headers - what do i need?

I might be interested in buy a set of those Pacesetter headers for a 3.8L but... does anyone know what else i would need (that's not included) with those headers? What kind of prices am i looking at for installation and misc. parts? any help is much appreciated!

I called pacesetter and they're not available yet. Check with them in a few months.

They are not available yet?? I was just looking at them on NOPI.com. They want like $334 a piece for the ceramic coated ones.
Mods include: SLP CAI, 2.5\" Dynomax catback exhaust, Bosch Platinum spark plugs, Taylor 8mm Spiro ignition wires, Eibach Prokit springs

Its an install most people do themselves just because it too much $$$ to ahve someone do it. All you really need is new gaskets and maybe some gasket sealer ( the RTV stuff ). Most people get GOOD bolts when they put them on like ARP bolts. You may have to have a Y-pipe made depending on if it comes with one. Its not that hard of a thing to install yourself, jsut a PITA.

YOu will have to have a Y-pipe made when they come out. Then gaskets and sealer like everyone said and some good bolts. O and the most important thing lots of time and cold beer!
