  • help with my borla exhuast

I used to have the Borla adjustable catback on my '02 v6 bird.. but i changed it awhile ago. I installed the borla myself, but then had it taken off, and had a different system welded on

I'm planning to cut off the current system and put back on the borla but I'm confused about how to install it now. When I first installed it, no welding was involved.. where does the first piece of the I-pipe go... directly into the cat? or into the s-pipe piece that goes into the cat? I'm confused because it looks as if it will need to be welded even though it's a bolt on system

does anyone have any good instructions with pics, or the real instructions? the ones I found online were ****ty and vague.

    thanks for the help

If I remember right, the straight pipe goes into the s-pipe and then to the cat. I remember the borla did'nt go directly in to the cat.

If you're looking a pieces that need to be welded you may have a problem. We installed mine in the garage with just the clamp-on components.

yeah but the S-pipe is welded to my current I-pipe.. I can cut it off but then what? will the borla I-pipe clamp into where the current I-pipe is cut off the S-pipe?

I'd get a second opinion, but I think if you cut that section off, the Borla should clamp-on.

Why are you sticking the bola back on? Just curious. ;)

Sell the Borla, buy an edelbrock, go buy a steak and a hooker

Well if you are going that route forget borla nad eldebrook and have a Ravin Z-55 put on there.
