I am not familiar with the exhaust system on V6 cars. Where is the cat on a 02 V6 Firebird? Is it after the Y-pipe? I am wondering if it would be easy to put an exhaust from an 02 SS on a 02 V6 Firebird? Can anyone help me?

You'll just be connecting the SS exhaust to the S pipe coming off the single cat rather than the Y pipe off the LS1. It will work fine 2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

The location of the cat on all F-bodies has remained the same for at least 20 years... any exhaust made for any camaro/firebird in the last 20 years will fit with minor adjustments to the hangers.Black \'97 Camaro RS See Pics 3.8L, 5 Spd, Disc Rear, Hurst short shifter, MAF Screen Removed, RK Sport Headers, 3\" Cat, 3\" FM American Thunder Catback, Compcams .512/.507, (2x)275/40/17 Khumo 712(front) (2x)285/40/17 Good Year F1 GS-D3 (back).
