The edelbrock is smoother and mellower
The flowmaster is gurglier but raspier and probably louder in the car cruising.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

I my Edelbrock. HAZ-Matt has a Flowmaster with 3 inch ghetto bends...its REALLY loud cruising and gets raspy.

Yeah, it is deep, but it does rasp a little, which makes it gross in a good way, lol
Edelbrock is good too. Basicaly it comes down to personal taste and budget. If you want a mellow exhaust, go Edelbrock (or maybe Dynomax if you can't afford Edelbrock). If you want loud go Flowmaster.
BTW I'd recomend something larger than the stock 2 1/4 pipe... I mean like possibly 3inch or your Edelbrock may sometimes be mistaken for a Honda Accord ;)Matt
2000 Firebird

FullThrottleV6.com
