will 3" inlet cat fit on a 3.4?

sorry about this being another exhaust question, but will a 3" inlet cat fit on a 3.4? I think it will, but i just need someone to back me up on this one. Thanks for the help! :D

I'm accually intrested in this too - I'd like to get a Hi-flow Cat and wonder myself if the Y-pipe into the Cat is 3"

I guess what i really need to know is if there is enough room for a reducer to fit in before the cat to make the pipe large enough for 3"?

well some shops will reduce the pipe and bang it down to make it fit. But yes a 3inch will fit I have one.

All you need to do is get a 2.5/2.5 coupler. have one end expanded to 3".
