You can go to www.horsepowertv.com and go to HOT PARTS. I think it was January 18 or 19. It gives a phone # at the bottom of this exhaust system, so call it and ensure the part number.

I think that it is $332.99 on www.jegs.com. The part # there is 389-17358. Just make sure that is not the old kit. Make sure it has the special resonator on the I-pipe. The resonator helps the system sound more like it was intended, no raspiness. (I hope) ;)

My flowmaster 80 series sounds a little ricy when I floor it, but if i am just cruzing around town at 3rpm or lower it sounds bad @$$. Its not like I floor it all the time any ways.

No doubt at all it's the B&B..

I've heard all the big named ones.. and B&B wins very easily.

Flowmaster tends to sound ricey in the higher RPM's... most of them do.

The B&B however sounds more tone than ricey.

I know you can't always judge a muffler by soundclips but the B&B system is one clip I haven't heard yet.

Well of course it's going to be the most expensive one, but who wants to pay that much just to make a V6 sound like a V8?

I kinda prefer the stock muffler, makes for a nice sleeper.

If you want you can listen to my exhaust. There's a link off of my mods page under the Exhaust information.

Good luck finding something you like and care to pay for.

Ok, my question is this. we all already know that the b&b was designed for our cars, therefore it performs well. we've all seen the dyno sheet that says it was delivering something like 11 horsepower to the ground. what i need to know is, now that flowmaster has a LIGHTER exhaust out specifically designed for the 3.8l engine, how much power does it put out? is it similar to the b&b?? i can live with the sound if i know it performs. thanks.

*nod* I thought flowmaster was the least ricey sounding at low RPM. until I hit high RPM everyone thinks my car is a V8...I need some 3.4 HO badges
