I have a ram air hood for my 3.4 and am puzzled on how to build a ram air box to make the hood functional. The bottom of the hood is the same as the factory ss hoods, but I don't think the factory box will work for 2 reasons: 1) the 3.4 intake is wider than the other engines, 2)the oil fill cap is in the same place as the airbox outlet.
I am not sure how you could do this. As far as the oil dipstick, I wouldnt worry about that. That can always be bended or cut short. It doesnt look like pic 1 would work on a 3.4 in pic 2. I understand your dilemna. Sorry I cant help you.
