What all do i need for my intake?? i know i need a new lid, filter, and that ram air kit . . . . . .is there anything else?? Do you need a new airbox?? If not how do you get that hole in the bottom of the air box, where the ram air goes?
I just installed the following air intake setup in my car: K&N Air Filter, Whisper Lid, and FTRA.
That is all you need. The hole where the ram air goes you have to cut it yourself.
Here are the instructions on how to install the ram air and how to cut the hole. http://www.fasttoys.net/ramairinstructions.htm
You will also receive this instructions with the Ram Air.
Hope this helps.
I have that same setup. I think it gave me some good results. You don't need a new airbox.
I cut the hole in the bottom of the airbox with a small hacksaw that I got from the hardware store for like five bucks...
Good Luck
