  • Dynomax Ultra-Flow Muffler-On 3.4L????

I see that alot of people here use the Dynomax Super Turbo muffler. Well I looked on Dynomax's website and they have two other crossflow mufflers. One is the Ultra Flow Stainless Steel one, 2.5" inlet, dual 2.5" outlets, #17266.
The second one is the the Ultra Flow Race series, looks like a Flowmaser, 3" inlet, dual 2.5" outlets, #17227. How would these sound? I think the stainless one is basically a Super Turbo with a fancy polished Stainless steel case. The race series one is rectangular in shape and either has no packing or high temp ceramic. This one might sound slightly different. I just thought I'd share this info with everyone else. I am thinking about buying one of these and having it installed on my 3.4L Camaro.

I've heard that the Ultra Flows are straight through, therefore they flow better and are louder than the Super Turbos.

But does the Ultra Flow rev up to redline, past 3000 rpms, without rice, like the Super Turbo????
Is it the same mellow sound, just louder???
How can it be straight through if it's a crossflow muffler ;) ?
