  • Installed my DEE tb spacer on my 97

Man this thing works wonders. after driving for 30 minutes I stopped and felt the tb and the upper intake and the tb was cool to the touch while the upper intake was hot as heck. The only hitch I had was I had to bend my bracket so that the idle would be normal. No problems though no coolant leak. Much props to DEE.

Easy install, way easy. In my sig it says k7n intake, but all I really have is a cone k&n on the end of the stock intake route( replaced the air box) So I dont know if it will fit with a slp cai, cuz my spacer is 3/8. But if it was a 1/4 then I think it will def fit. The direct hits is working fine so far, I did get a mileage increase of 2.5 mpg. I'll be going to the track this weekend hoping to hit 15.1 or better.

I'll post some pics of my spacer later today!

Thanks for the compliments. Glad you like it. I don't recall having to bend the bracket any, but there might be a slight difference on some cars.

BTW, it is 1/4" thick. ;)

IMHO, the 95-98 3.8L are the most difficult to install out of the 3. The 3.4L requires a slight alteration in the bracket. The 99+ doesn't have cables, so it is a piece of cake.
