I've been seeing custom CAI kits all over eBay, and I'm just wondering if they work. They seem to run anywhere between $30-$50, which is considerably cheaper than the the K&N or SLP kit. I'm sure the name brand kits would probably work better, but do the custom ones work well enough?

i figure there getting the same air from the same place, so the only difference would be diameter piping in which we dont reall "have" other than that black POS from the box to the intake. i dont think that there would be much of a difference. there may be a slight difference in intake lids however. i saw in a magazine (cant remember which) that they did a run down on those, and those had differences, i'll look 'em up at my house if u want.99\' Camaro v6 T5- SOLD<br />2004 VW Golf TDI

I was just looking at one I foundon ebay a while back. I've seen this guy sell custom CAI's for a lot of different things, and he has great feedback. Unfortunately, for some reason I can't seem to find any of them when I search. I'm sure he'll have more up soon. When I find one, I'll put a link up for you.
