Going to replace my 3" Catco & 3" S-pipe with a 2.5" Random Tech cat, and a 2.5" S-pipe (2 45* pipes from JC Whitney). Has anyone gotten an SES light with the Random Tech. catalytic converter? Any insight would be appreciated.

Because a random technologies cat flows probably 100cfms more than a catco does. Yes they are pretty expensive but are worth every penny.Comment

Are you referring to the RT Bullet cat or regular though? I think it was Barry from QTP posted results on one of the V8 forums with flow numbers for the cats and the Catco beat the regular random tech.
I was wondering the same thing though, why go froma 3" to a 2.5". Did you lose low end torque?
