• Just got Cat put on

I just got my high flow cat and 3in. s-pipe put on today. I think it sounds a litte louder than before. I had the s-pipe made from a U shaped pipe that I cut in half and flip one side and welded together, I also had them use the o2 bung of the old pipe and had that welded to the new one. I thought it was going to be less but I end up paying for 2 hours of labor. But O well I am happy with it and it should get a tiny better with age. and its the 3in catco I got put on.

That U bend bend idea for the S pipe is I wish I knew about that before I spent 40 bucks from jcwhitney.

How is the cat performance-wise, did you get a noticeable difference?

do u notice and difference w/ ur low end torque? I'm just wondering cuz I keep hearing how it'll kill my low-end torque but help out my top-end a bunch.

If you have a manual, who cares if you lose low end torque. just now u have to tach it up a little higher when you launch. When you're racin you stay in the upper rpms anyway.

What did you do to get around having to use the S Pipe?

I did the same thing with the S-pipe and Cat and didn't notice any loss in low end torque, only a hell of a gain up top. the power doesn't drop off like it used in higher rpms
