Entire Exhaust System rattles...

Ok anyone want to entertain the idea as to why this is happening? ALL of it from the cat all the way to the tips. When I hit bumps you can feel teh whole thing rattle underneath the car. Holding the shifter you can feel it vibrate throughout the entire car. I need to bring it back to the muffler place and see what's up, but does anyone have any preliminary thoughts as to what caused this?

did the guy weld it? and did he use the stock hangers. my muffler guy used 2 on each side cause of how heavy the 3 inch was, mines never given me a problem

well he's going to look at it and replace my muffler while I'm at it (I'm sick of dynomax...sorry, I've become a converter). It is custom hanged, but it's slouching on one side (where the I-pipe connects) so it's basically pulling the whole piping system...putting astress on the system.

yeah my 3" pipe hits in one little spot. i can hear it when i hit a fairly good sized bump. i know where its hitting, and im gonna have him put an extra hanger there to take care of it. i hope you get yours figured out!!

why do you wanna get ride of your dynomax. do you have a highflow cat? if you don't then i would suggest getting one, man that made my dynomax sound so sooo much better. :eek:

it's a Dynomax Super Turbo with 2.5" inlet and dual 2.5" outlet. I would be selling it with no tips, just the muffler.

Oh yea it's got about 15K miles on it
