    Catco High-Flow Cat...

    im sure this is a a stupid question but figured i should ask before i go and get this thing installed for a hundred bucks...

    Is there ANY possibility that the new high flow cat will make my car sound more raspy or get a higher pitch?

    i am really happy the way it sounds now but i HATE the rasp i get when i shift or am red lining it?

    also, will there be any performance gain out of it or will it just be minimal?

    $100 to install a cat? Thats outrageous!!

    Find another shop that will do it for less. I payed $50 and thats because they had to modify the car and the exhaust because it wouldnt fit right

    I purchased a 3'' in 3'' out but i needed a 3'' in and 2.5'' out.

      yeah that is way too expensive, dont pay more than like 70 to have it put on. as for the sound issue, i think it chages the tone a little and you get a little more rasp at the top end since it flows better.
