Y-Pipe size question and S-Pipe question

1) from what ive figured out im gonna get a 3in highflow catco cat.. 3in in and 3in out.... is the stock y pipe 3in? also...

2) does the Edlebrock catback come with an S Pipe... and if not, can most shops make one pretty easily.

3) with a new s-pipe, say 3in, would i need to get a new 02 sensor, and if so, where might i get it.

lets see the y pipe collects into a 3 inch pipe and then goes into the cat

i have a 3 inch in/out cat, but as for the edlebrock i dont know about the s pipe my hooker came with one

as for the new o2 sensor i didnt have to get a new one cuase they just come out, just get the muffler guy to weld in a new piece that the o2 sensor sticks in

Unless things have changed, there is no catback that you can buy that comes with the S pipe. The Edelbrock from what I understand tails off from 3" at the muffler to 2.25 at the start of the I pipe. If you want 3" all around you'll need to make a custom 3" S pipe (don't forget the 02 bung - you don't need a new sensor) and add some 3" pipe for the start of the I pipe so that it reaches the 3" part of the Edelbrock I pipe - so I guess your going to have to cut it. Someone on here I think did that maybe they can help you better
