Im not sure if this has ever been atempted. There are two lines running into the throttle body from the cooling system. Their purpose is to keep the tb from freezing in the winter time and works with emissions to keep the tb cool while the motor is at normal tempiture. The water is the same temperature as the motor so its not any cooler. I routed the hose with the water flowing out of the motor to a small transmission cooler in the front bumper with an electric fan to cool the antifreeze, then routed the line back to the tb then back into the motor. These little 3 hp mods you dont really notice but every little bit helps right?

Sounds good! I'm gonna use the Dee throttle body spacer myself. Bypasses the coolant line. Aready purchased.

I found that bypassing the tb coolant line actually made it hotter than the engine. Try it and after your done driving, pop the hood and touch the tb. That is false information, i have a throttle body spacer and i can touch mt tb after the spacer it is cool!Comment
