  • Firehawk Air Box, fit a 3.8?

I notice that several online shops are offering almost all of the Firehawk OEM parts including the airbox, wheels, and badging/stickers. I was wondering if the Firehawk airbox would fit a 3.8 though. Actually their are hardly any descriptions on lmperformance.com to tell you exactly what it contains. Is it just a lid or the whole airbox? And would it fit under a stock hood or do you have to have the Firehawk hood or higher clearance? I just don't like the how cold air kits work on our cars, I'd rather have a ram air setup and I think the Firehawk would be one of the better ones to get. What do you guys think?

The Problem with the Air-Box Will Be Hood Clearence. A WS6 or Firehawk Ram-Air Hood will take care of that problem.

Firehawk lower airboxes are the same as the regular Trans Am's, and Firebirds. Only the WS6 gets the raised version.

the is the slp blackwing lid... not something you would buy for the performance, as they are very expensive new.

I run one on my ws6, due to the quality over the aftermarket lids, but i would never consider buying it new for over $200,

        I paid $60 for mine, with a k&n
