They gave some crap about them havin to connect the 2.25 piping to my 3in piping. I understand that that is true but cant they make it 3in all the way back?

yes they can make it 3in piping all the way back, but it'll cost ya more. You would need to enlarge all your piping. See right now your I-pipe is 2.25in stock and your loudmouth I'm assuming has a 3in inlet. The pipe is too small to fit into the muffler's inlet. My suggestion is that you try and find a 2.5in muffler instead since it'll be more adventageous for your car. Just my $0.02

Oh btw, if I remember right, the stock I-pipe is 2.25in, however, at the end where the muffler comes in, it's 2.5in. That's why I suggested a 2.5in muffler...it'll be cheaper to go this route

So you are saying just to get rid of my loudmouth??What about all these other people that have 3in exaust like borla, how do they put that on?Because i really like what i have heard about the loudmouth.is there anyway that they could just weld it or give me and adapter to downsize?

Midas gave me sh*t when I brought my flowmaster with a 3 inch inlet to them. They were telling me they dont make a pipe reducer that goes from 3 to 2.25 inches. I brought it to another shop and they installed it (with a pipe reducer that goes from 3 to 2.25 inches) without any problems.

              Two options:

              1. Get a new Cat with a 3" in / 3" out.

              2. Get a pipe reducer from 2.25" to 3" and have them weld it on to your muffler backwards.

In either case, you will also need to get a new 3" s-pipe (have them make it or purchase two 45deg mandrel bends from jegs or summit and have them weld them in place).

Option 1 will cost you about 100 bucks for the cat and the new s-pipe. Option 2 will cost 30-40.
