Is my CAI working right?

OK, it's not a "real" CAI, just the Home Depot version. I think it's working right because as I understand, with more air going in because of the mods, it also uses more gas to match the extra air going in. I have dropped from 29.5 mpg to 26.4

I imagine it's functioning properly, but hey, just wanna make sure.

i dunno--mileage increased for me when i got my intake. might wanna check into that one...

Hmm, I doubt its more restricted now, as I have an open KN conical filter at the bottom of the tubing. I had read somewhere that it was supposed to use a little more fuel, so not to panic about that, but I'm not certain...thanks for the response though....anyone else?

Maybe you are driving a little more agressive? But really I don't think it's much to worry about, unless you really want to have it checked out.
