Well I made the switch. Only sad thing is...I can't hear it til Friday :(
I had my parents pick it up from my place and have it installed. I go home this weekend to bring her back. Anyone go for this conversion from the quiet D to the mighty F and would like to tell me what I can expect for a change.
it SHOULD BE a Flowmaster 80 seires 2 chamber with 2.5" inlet and dual 2.5" outlet. The reason I say SHOULD is because I had my pops go over and have it done for me while I'm at school. Hopefully it's done right. By the sound of it I think it is since he was saying jeez this thing is fricken loud now. :D
i love my flowmaster!! ive never heard the dynomax in person, but comparing dynomax clips to flowmaster clips, i like the flowmaster way better...the dynomax doesnt sound as deep down low to me

well I'll pick up my car either today or tomorrow to hear it for the first time. As for the Dynomax. From a cold start it sounds really great. It's deep and sounds like a V8. It's not raspy at all either BUT MY BIG GRIPE WITH IT was that it's NOT LOUD. I've personally heard the Flows 80 series before and I must say they sound VERY SIMILAR to the Dynomax, but just a lot louder.

I looked up muffler shops in the yellow pages and immediately found a place that advertised flowmaster systems. You could probably do the same (I just took my car to the muffler shop, told them what I wanted, and they put it on in like 45 min)BTW I love my flowmaster, sounds great and LOUD!

I just went to my fav. muffler shop and told him what I wanted. He had it in stock and threw it on for me. If/when he doesn't have the part he just orders it and gets it next day. I pay a few extra $ (maybe $10 more) but it's worth it for me.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
