it threw the ses light i dont remember anyone else having this problem. anyone have any advice i tried resetting the computer but that had no affect

Do you know what code it threw? It might be an unrelated problem but the code is the most help.
Try your local parts store and have them scan it if you don't have one available to you. Most of them will scan and clear codes for free! -
