I'm a little confused on how this works I have 3" borla cat back exhaust and I just installed my rk sport headers a few days ago. Question is I've noticed that the low end isn't there like it was before after the header install I've read some posts and some people say thay you lose backpressure and thats what causes it. I have my stock cat still on should I go with a high flow one or would that help or hurt my situation. Also some have said that I should get a s-pipe installed but since I have a cat back system don't I already have one. Basically what can i do to get that low end back
thanks

do all the intaek stuff you can. that's the only way of ever getting it back. if it still isn't very good down low, you'll need heads/cam, rockers, sc/turbo, ect.

I just replaced my Cat converter yesterday with a high flow cat and notice a difference in the higher rpms... It feels like it is pulling harder in the 3500-5500 range. From what I have read, the high flow cat actually takes away from your low end and adds to your top end. I may be wrong, but it seems like this would hold true because of the pull that I get in the upper range. I haven't had the cat installed long enough to determine a loss in my low end, but I will surely find out this weekend.
I found it to be very informative, but this is only one person's opinion. There are also sound files you can download from that site. It could possibly be someone's site from here, but I'm not sure who....sorry! hope this helps.
