    OMG I love this thing. It's hellish loud and it really catches people's attentions. The sweet spot is from 1800RPMs - 2300RPMs...whoa is it nasty (in a good way). BTW, my dynomax is still up for sale if anyone wants it?

    man what did you do???...I had flows they suck in the high end...too damn ricey...but then again I had the 40 series.... [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]

      80 series with 2.5" (not 3") and they sound deep loud and good. Just like my dynomax, just deeper and way louder. I'm lovin it

            Oh yeah?? Well dynomax is the leading cause of cancer. I also blame it on world hunger, and that meteor heading towards earth.

            Actually my 40 series is quiet at idle, and highway cruising. It wakes up a little with a growl when you get on it some, but at WOT its quieter than you'd think. I like it. (its the delta)

                Flows on a 3.4l sounds beautiful. When compared to my friends LS1 its almost the same tone BUT of course not as throaty. Flows are just about the best for the money. My .2 cents anyway.

                      oh I started up my car next to my buddies stock 02 SS...guess who's louder at idle AND WHEN REVVING...me :D

                      He sounds better up top tho...but he's got 2 extra cylinders [img]tongue.gif[/img]

                        I dont care if its loud or not.. Dynomax is a more quality sound. 2.75 pipes make a world of difference. Also.. you thik your flows are throaty and louder than a SS... get a Cutout... put it right after the cat... theres no raspy tone up top or pops... I had it by the axle and it was crap.. Just my imput... Nothing wrong wioth the Flows... just not as consistant as the Dynomax.

                          This thing doesn't pop...the only time it may do it a bit (and it sounds good doing it) is from say 2,000RPMs and letting it rev down from there. It's like a rumble/pop. Idle sounds better than the SS and the revs...well everyone knows how the 3.8 sounds when you rev it compared to a V8. Thank you very much, I'll keep my Flowmaster. :D

                            My car sounds just like an LS1 except for up top but on the other hand there is not that much difference in they way they sound. LS1s do not impress me sound wise at all even with a flowmaster. The LT1s sound SOOOO much better. No 3.4 sounds like an LS1 because LS1s do not have that over grown boat motor sound that the 3.4 has.

                              3.4 sounds better than a 3.8
                              LT1 sounds better than a LS1
                              BUT
                              3.8 out performs 3.4
                              LS1 out performs LT1 (in most cases)
