Where did you all get your sim. How much? I think should do this also. I have my Catco coming in the mail. Can you buy just one, cause I know that some packages come with 2 or more. Also, what about emission testing. What exactly do they do? With my last car I just left it at the shop and picked it up when the test was done. Isn't there a visual inspection that I should be concerned about?1998 Camaro M5, Sports Appearance Package, K&N,CAI,Whisper Lid, Dynomax Superturbo exhaust,Carsound Converter.
http://members.cardomain.com/canadiancamaro

Some people with headers and a highflow cat get an SES light coming from the 02 sensor. A 02 sim would fix this. Also why go through all the trouble plugging the bung before the cat and making your exhaust shop weld up and make an new bung after the cat when you can simply get a 02 sim and avoid all of this hassle.

I didn't take performance or SES into account when I decided on a sim. With my all stainless system, I didn't want anybody welding on it until I can find somebody who welds stainless, with stainless wire. So the sim was my choice only for that reason. Everything is band clamped for now, no welds anywhere. I may even pick up a cheap MIG welder and some stainless wire myself...\'98 A4 Camaro v6->v8 conversion, and STS kit next
v6: 13.6 Powerdyne, 13.2 150 shot, 13.8 120 shot, 14.3 85 shot, 15.7 stock
v8(na): 12.18@113, 392rwhp
Moderator on www.mtfba.org and www.frrax.com (Road Race & Autocross)
Car pics, TN Region SCCA

so let me get this straight - if I get a sim then I won't need a bung. Do you just tie it off somewhere? What about visual insepections for emissions - are they looking for the bung?1998 Camaro M5, Sports Appearance Package, K&N,CAI,Whisper Lid, Dynomax Superturbo exhaust,Carsound Converter.
http://members.cardomain.com/canadiancamaro

What does the sim connect to?
I thought it connects to the computer. If it doesn't plug right into the comp how is the sim attached?Red \'99 3.8
Induction: SLP Cold Air Intake, K&N Air Filter, Whisper Lid
Ignition: Taylor Spiro-Pro Wires, Bosch Platinum 2 Plugs
Suspension: Power Slot Rotors, Hawk HPS Pads, Mille Miglia MM11-2 18x9, Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 245/40-18
