Air Ducting For 98

I was just on JcWhitney.com and I noticed this product. I have a 98 and I used the cheap dryer duct and It was causing the engine to run bad for some reason. So put the old stock set-up back on. But will this stuff work better or is there something else I should be getting. If so what size do I need.

What are you looking to do with it? It all depends. I had something similar to that product on my old 3.4, but it was coming straight back from the air box.

I was hoping to use if in place of the air baffle.

that would work, just hose clamp both sides. Or use PVC from home depot.
