I was talking to someone with a V6 that had something like this:

He wasn't running a airbox or anything. Would that fit? That seems more worth the money than the mat filter, airbox, and air induction.

I am sure you can make it fit but, its not worth the $300 plus for it.

Well..if you buy CAI, LID, and box, that adds to around $280. So um..

Not sure what you mean by box, but all you need is a new lid. Do the Free Ram Air mod and you'll be set. It'll flow more air than you need.

Bleh i mean't new filter. But I am doing free RAM air mod tomarrow, K&N tomarrow. I pulled with plyers and shaved the baffles down on my lid today until I have $120 to buy my new lid.

Do the PVC mod too. Basically you take out the baffle, in the middle of the two rubber hoses in your intake after the lid, and replace it with a 3" PVC coupling. It worked great for me and ive had it in for a couple years with no melting issues. plus it makes getting to your belt and oil filter easier as well.
