  • Thinking about getting a cutout

Hey guys, have a question on how my car might sound with a cutout? It's a 00 Camaro. I have a Flowmaster 80 Series with dual tips. I also have a K&N Airfilter. How would a cut out sound and does it matter where it would go, after the cat or after the rear axel. Thanks for your input. My exhaust sounds pretty good, but after 3k rpm it gets a little ricey.
    Thanks

Cutouts get a little annoying while on a long trip or when you are in a bad mood.

I have the same setup, with a FlowTech 2.25" cutout after the cat. Sounds great. My friends say it's the best sounding V6 they've ever heard. Of course if you don't like loud exhaust, don't get it. I personally don't get annoyed by it at all, I like it loud. The louder, the better. If it gets annoying on a long trip like viper said or whatever, you can always put the cap back on for a while.
