  • Help with exhaust for 3.4L '95 Camaro

I have a 3.4L '95 Camaro. I would like to put a cat-back exhaust system on it and after a lot of browsing I have almost decided on the Magnaflow (2.5 inch tube b/c 3.4L, 3.5 tips).
Price being an issue, i would like to spend around $400 or less but still get a noticable performance increase in hp and high-low torque.

I have seen a lot of talk about the Flowmaster and Dynomax but almost none about the Magnaflow. The $$ and good reviews made it seem like the best choice for me, but now i'm not certain. I would greatly appreciate any info on the magnaflow and/or suggestions about other good cat-backs for around same$ w/same performance.

Ill say this once and once only. I have a custom bent system from a muffler shop (catback 2.5" into a 80 series flow, dualed out) I payed 300 flat for it. I have raced guys with the borla, magnaflow, and flowmaster catback systems (500-700 $) and I have won every time. They run times consistently worse than me. Get whatever you want its all in preferance. But my custom bent 2.5" catback works fine.

I've got a manaflow SS muffler, the one you can see through, and it is sweet. I only spent $120 for the muffler and the tip. I don't have dual tips, but the single out let flows better. There are no twist, turns, or baffles. The sound is great.
