Flowmaster 40 series preferences

I have been looking and I think I will end up with the delta force flowmaster 40 series muffler. Does anyone own one or have any preference? I would really hate spending my money on a bad sounding, annoying system.

I have owned the 80 series and threw it away after a few months. I have run straight exhaust and didn't like that either. Now I have a 40 series mounted where my cat used to be and I love it! 40 series all the way. Most people will tell you to get a 80 series, but it's the only muffler they've ever had and don't know any better. Try to get the NON delta. It sounds better.

i agree with devilboy, the 40 series sounds much better then the 80, i have 3" highflow cat and 3" catback with the 40 series, its sounds really good, especially at idle. [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]

I read the delta gives better preformance and im into preformance more than sound. Has anyone heard differently?
