  • what kind of flowmaster do I have?

Im a car dummy, a buddy of mine said the car i bought(used) had flowmaster... its duel exaust with mail slot looking exaust pipes out the back( i know this sounds pathetic but i really am car dumb), it has a fairly deep rumble and crackles a lot when going down hill. Can ya tell me anything about that Id appreciate it. Can you tell me how to find out what kind of flowmaster I have?

You probably have an 80 series (2 chamber) if all that was done was a muffler swap.
However, if you got a re-worked, larger exhaust, you could've gotten a 50 series (3 chamber).
    Provide us with a pic..

OK, if I have a two chamber, whats the advantages on "upgrading" to a three chamber, and about how much would it cost?

A 2 chamber is less restrictive and is louder. You would be "downgrading" by going to a 3 chamber.

Edit - By the way, moving to Intake/Exhaust ;)
