boy am i stupid

so.. got my 3" catback installed today (i,s,overaxle pipes from summit) with a borla proxs muffler.

turns out i never had a catback to begin with.. just the 80 series muffler. *emabrassed* haha. so today, i went from 2.25" pipes to 3" pipes. :-D sound clip will be up this friday. keep a look out!

Well I bet you felt and heard the difference then. So you thought you had a 2.5" or what? How did that happen?

i was told when i bought my car it was a 2.5" catback.. either they were stupid too.. or they lied. either way, i love the new sound. its a little bit quieter than my last setup though (with stock catback), but sounds much deeper and gives me lots more power. this may be why i could only hit a 15.8 at the track last time i went. :( haha

hey its not your fault though, im sure it happens all the time. shops lie about **** like that so much it aint even funny.

yea i have headers. i was running them with a stock cat-back. :(

and it wasnt the shop that lied to me, it was the person who sold me the car when i bought it.
