• Borla exhaust

I've been looking at exhaust for my 3.4 and I've checking out Borla. I did a search on this and everyone seemed to have the one with the plates. Does anyone have $440 one? Borla says it adds 13 hp, but how does it sound? I'm looking for really just a low rumble. I want something that sounds good instead of just real loud. Better yet, does anyone have sound clips? thanks in advance.

oh yeah, also i plan on getting a 3" cat, and maybe headers (probably pacessetter if i can get my hands on some)

If you want really loud, don't get Borla. B&B is supposed to be lower then Borla... so is Dynomax. If you want quieter and low, stay away from Flowmaster, Borla, Edelbrock, etc. They're louder.

I have borla. when i put in the block off plate to send the exhaust only through the muffler it was pretty deep. a lot deeper then when i have the smaller plate in. if you go to borla.com you can here what it sounds like.they advertise the sound as the cat back put it is just the rear section. if your going to spent your money on borla go wit the cat back. you tune it to your liking. deep or loud.B&b is also a nice set up. it has a pleasnt sound. i hope this helps

I have a 94 3.4 with the borla cat back system. My borla kit does not have the plates and it sounds very healthy at idle and at speed on the road. I think it sounds pretty good. Not a loud rumble but it sounds nice

I have the non-adjustable rear section Borla and it has the rumble that a Borla gives but not annoying. I have headers and 3 inches all the way back and it's still not too loud. I have a 3.8 by the way.

I'm in fact looking to sell it. So if you're interested my email is Italianstallion1@msn.com
