I gained about 3 tenths in a 1/4 mile after I installed my whisper ram air (WRA) which is the same is the FTRA.

What gears do you have? The base a4 3.08s? You should be able to chirp the tires w/ 3.42's.

The ftra mainly helps at 40+ mph.

Yea, you'll definitely see a big gain on the last portion of your quarter mile, but I also felt a nice difference off the line...all around great mod.

i have not run my FTRA at the track yet but the difference can be felt at about 4200 RPM's for me..the car just has more power from there to red line IMO and it was an improvement over the free ram air

Did 99 have that crap program in the computer that didn't let them have full throttle? Or it was like no full throttle off the line or something. It was only on nonY87 automatic cars. Of course being a convertable with big tires and 17" wheels doesn't help much either. Bolt up my almost bald Eagle GA's and you won't have a problem spinning them.
