Yea when I still had stock muffler I drilled like 3 dime sized holes right before the muffler, sounded really good for 5 min worth of work.

i am pretty sure that as long as you don't have an emissions related SES light that you will pass eminsions. your car will be scanned thrue it's OBD2 port...not with a sniffer.

Drilling holes in your muffler. No offence, but this has got to be one of the silliest things I have heard someone do. The muffler was designed a certain way, why breach the exterior when you know that it will reduce the efectiveness it was designed for? Not to mention further polluting the environment.

i agree.... i read it twice to make sure i read it correctly. kind of like those morons who put those little wistles or w/e it is in there exhaust to make people think they have a turbo. its just ghetto i guess

Just and I was anxious to see what difference my flowmaster was going to be since it was on the way. And don't tell me it wouldn't make a diff. because it IS more exhaust flow before the muff. yea it is ghetto but I live in a trailor so **** off and that remark about the enviornment? is that a joke? I live in rural IN and half the people on this board couldn't pass emissions. Its not like I did it before the cat either. One more thing this was about sound diff. about chopping the tips off. Thats not ghetto?
