• Need Info on Flowmaster W/ 3" Pipes

Hi guys. I'm looking to replace my stock exhaust with a Flowmaster system with 3" angled cut pipes like what cixelsyD21 has on his car. (http://camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/cixelsyd3)

thats about as far as I am info wise. I went to flowmaster's site but they didn't have any prices, and i didn't know what to look foor there anyway.

there is a post @ http://www.camarov6.com/ubb/ultimate...c&f=5&t=002302 that has most of the info on what cixelsyd3's looks/sounds like. I'm wanting somoething similar to that

if I could get a few replies with prices, install issues, general info, and stuff of that sort, i'd be greatful.

Thanks in advance

u like that black car more than mine? :D heh, the flowmasters we have cost us total 220 with install and tips here, pretty good price. i read your previous post, and u said will i loose any sound if i go to 3.5" pipes, its the other way around, the larger, the deeper the sound will get (I dont know, but very little, i dont think u can notice it that easy) but imo, 3.5" looks too big... go to your local muffler shop, tell them you want camaro flowmasters with angled cut and 3" chrome tips + install, and tell us how much he'll charge

(if i could find a freaking way to get the sound of my car's exhaust, i would show it to ya, it doesnt sound like the one in flowmaster's site...)

What series are the mufflers? I went to the flowmaster site and checked around and found this.

80 Series
· Crossflow Applications
· Newer Camaro/Firebird
· Buick Grand Nationals/Street Rods

is this the right series and everything?

btw. I'm using that car as en example because I was gonna buy a black Camaro originally and do the same thing that he did to it (duals, blackouts, sound system, rims). The only thing his car is missing that I wanted on mine is t-tops

anyways, now that I have a Teal Camaro (a dark green), i'm thinking of doing the blackouts and i'm gonna be changing the rims to the Torque Trust II's once I get some $$. I wanna do the exhaust first off, so that explains my interest in your guys cars right now

I got 3 inch mandrel bent I pipe, flowmaster 3 inch muffler with 3 tail pipes and 3.5 inch angle cut tips. Got it all at Meineke. Go there tell them what you want and they can order everything for you. My local Meineke does great work. You will pay around $300 with install and the tips that I got. My tips are really long.

you'd be better off with kit 17143.

17134 or 17143?

the 17134 is the American Thunder system (looked it up in the pdf file on the flowmastermufflers.com site under individual muffler and systems application guide.

anyway, if you do mean 17143, what is the difference and whats worth looking into on that one?
