After reading the endless discussion between the different exhaust, I think I'm going to like the Dynomax sound better. Has anyone bought a full dynomax catback and which one? I'm also curious to know the difference in sound between the super turbo and ultra flow mufflers they offer. I was wanting to do a 2.75 in system, but its looking like its gonna be 2.5 now. I saw that summit had one for the 5.7 and one for the 2nd gen v6, is there one for the 3.8?

I have a dynomax muffler sounded great until i cut my cat off. LOL . A big rumor where i live is Flow master sounds like **** on a V6. I have not heard a v6 with flows so i cant judge for myself. This rumor caused me to buy dynomax. Which all i hear from everyone about them is good. Mine is not a cat back system though

I bought the Dynomax muffler and I-Pipe seperatly. Also threw in a high flow cat to top it off. Overall, I like the sound. Doesn't get realy ricey up high.
I've got an in-car video of the sound, if you want to hear it email or AIM me.

i have a superturbo catback and i love the sound, at least for a v6. of course the v8s sound better but im really impressed with it.
Ultraflow SS mufflers are not worth it..for magnaflow makes that identical muffler for about $30 less. Plus they may be a little louder at idle and low RPM but it gets worse when you get higher RPM because of the straight through design. SuperTurbo banks the exhaust and thus is better for a v6 because we dont push out that much exhaust flow compared to a v8. And almost all mufflers are designed for a v8. I heard both superturbo and ultra flow on my car. superturbo sounds better thru the whole rpm range. ultra flow rices out a little worse and IMHO it isnt worth it to buy an ULTRAFLOW SS.

So what did you guys do? Just walk into the place and say, I'd like a Dyno SuperTurbo muffler connected with 2.5 mendrel bent pipes from the cat back? And they'll say..... sure, we can do that?? Which national places do that?1997 Camaro RS, 3800II, Y87, A4, Red, 30th Anniversary, 145k, SLP CAI, Taylor Spiro Pro 8mm wires...
