I'd just say screw it and get a reg. cat. Wouldn't it suck if you go to get your car smogged and you don't pass?

1) its just a joke saying "son", dont get overworked

2)i am same age as you and probably same size, if not taller

3)i could probably get it put on for less than $40. or free
you just gotta have friends

4)i dont have to worry about smog or inspection, so therefore i would rather have a better performance exhaust to go along with my other mods.

dont be high-strung, we're all friends working to improve v6 f-bodys

im making fun of the fact that i just wasted $50 to get a higher flowing cat when i could have just gutted mine for free.
gut = more top end
high flow = better low/mid end power

but it really doesnt matter cause its not like your gonna gain more than 2hp!

little g said he gained .2 off his et because of gutting his cat(methinks)

ya, it would be terrible to go thru all that and not have it pass.. so, no one knows of any cat thats ca. legal then?

My cat is a Cali cat so it's cleaner (and more expensive) than those dirty NY pussies (cats)... ;) Also, it was $69 for the installation so..w/e I don't give a damn.

Dude, if you would actually read through the friggen thread I posted after my original post saying about $75 of that was a daignostic...So I paid about $300 for removing the old cat, getting out the piece of honeycomb from the i-pipe, and installing the new cat. I live in the BAY FREAKING AREA, CALI. I guess you don't realize that EVERYTHING, no just gas, is more expensive here, thus people like mechanics have to charge more here than pretty much the rest of the country. And to prove I didn't get ripped off, the guy that owns this shop was my baseball coach from highschool who I know fairly well, and I've been to this shop before. They are straight up with me, I would know if someone was ripping me off. I can't stand you childish idiots who come in people's thread's just to bash them and claim how stupid they are cus you think they paid too much, and then play that stupid ****ing "1upsmanship game" where no matter what anybody says, you did better..etc 10 minutes of work to take off the old cat, remove the loose ****, and weld on a new cat. YA 10 MINUTES SURE, who the **** are you SUPERMAN? You really have an ego problem along with your other annoying bash buddy...
