JC Whitney/Pacesetter headers ARGHGHGH

Well it's been a month now since I ordered the headers from JcWhitney. And on their site it still says "In Processing" I called them up monday and they gave me a bunch of crap about how it takes 4 weeks so iwas like well ok let me call you back in 2 days. I need these headers by this week because I have to pass inspection on tuesday, and I need to have a full exhaust welded up. Is there any other place I can order these headers from and they'll get here by this weekend? Like 2 day air or something? I really need something. I'm thinking about canceling out the order based on what they say tomorrow.

why wont your current exhaust pass inspection??

if all you need is a cat weld it up.. its not that expensive to do it 2 times..

that or get an exension on the inspection.. normaly its not that expensive..

It's not that, I have a carsound sitting in my house right now. Right now I have a muffler running off of the ypipe, My wrap arounds are leaking, so I wanted to get the headers and do the whole exhaust at once. Cuz I need to get the muffler shop to make an ipipe and spipe. I don't want to weld everything up to the stock wrap arounds, then have to cut it back off to put the headers on. I'd rather do it all before I do everything.

look into geting an extension..

While we're here what comapny can I buy a set of pacesetter's from that will get here the quickest possible? How is amm performance on shipping?

I don't know how AMM performance is on headers, but when I ordered my wires, I had them in two days, and it was an early 11am drop off. I would give them a A++ on shipping. But I am on a whole different coast than you.

I don't have any in stock right now. Pacesetter is currectly backordered on those headers. I have a few sets on their way here, but most are already spoken for. Quite a few of my customers have been waiting for over a month too. When we did our big header special a few months back, we ordered so many sets, between JCWhitney, us and whoever else, Pacesetter couldn't keep up.

Bottom line, I would like to help you with your deadline, but unfortunately, we're all stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Thanks viper, looks like i'll just have to get all my stuff welded with the headers on I have now. How long do backorders usually take? I should of just ordered them from you when I had the chance. I guess it's what I get for trying to save a buck or two.

Good idea! [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img] Ted it might be best to talk to the DMV and tell them the car is wating on parts in order for it to get inspecded the parts have to come in and they should give you a T-tag.
