    if i cut off my cat then what kind of sound diffrence would it be and would it make my car a lil bit slower of faster...im kinda worried about maby loosing to much compression in the engine thus loosing speed.. responses appreciated

      I replaced the cat with a dynomax bullet muffler. No complaints at all. Gained power and has great sound.

        i cant just cut it off and have a pipe put in its place?

            if you have emissions... well i just wouldnt reccomend it....heh.

                it dosent make a reall big difference in performance.. a high flow cat is not going to restrict engough airflow to really worry about..

                i think jason mccalister has some dynos on his exhaust.. and basicly.. cut out netted him little to nothing..

                as far as sound goes.. i dont care who you talk to.. or what you have done.. it still sounds like crap.. just accept it..
