The stock cat has a 3" in on it already and a 2 1/4 out i believe into that s shaped section.
If you go with a 3" cat it will be a larger cat and less restrictive obviously.
I was told by a shop that showed me in a part book for pacesetter that they have headers for the 3.8 is this true?

I just a cataco 3" high flow cat put on with a borla 3" ajustable cat back right now I dont have a plate in it. In a way it seems i have lost tq but in a way not. I think in a way not because now i dont take the car as high for example 2k is load enough for me before i got the exasght i was normaly taking up to 3k but it seems like it dosnt get to 3 k as fast as it did with the stock exasght but i can tell a big diffrence up top because yall know stock the car seems like its losing power past 5k not anymore

I dont know why yall do 2 3" 90 degrees for the S pipe I had mine custom set so they are 2 45 degree angles so that there is half as much restriction there. My friend dynoed with the 2 3" 90 degree bends and with the 2 3" 45 degree bend the was a range from 3 to 5 hp differnce on the 2 runsSICK-SIXX MEMBER
NA 14.345 with a 1.863 60 foot
Nitrous 13.03@99.5 with a 1.63 60 foot

2000 Camaro 3.8L A4: USE TO HAVE Comp Cam 210/220 .535/.547 113lsa 111 I/C, Port and Polished Heads, NX Wet Kit 100 Shot, CPRA made by CP, RK Sport Headers
