  • I LOVE my new exhaust!

    here's my setup:
Pacesetter headers, flowtech bullet race-series muffler, summit cutout, into flowmaster 80 series muffler.

    it sounds great!
it is a bit quiter than what just the flowmasters were probably due to the bullet muffler but the sound quality is 100x better! absolutely NO RASP WHATSOEVER! i took it up to red line and it was just a roar. absolutely no rice at all! the cut out sounds much better than open headers too because it is welded onto the bullet muffler.

i would reccomend this setup to anyone who doesnt want to pay the money for Borla.

How much was the flowtech bullet muffler?

Is it 14inches in length? Right now i got pretty much the SAME EXACT SETUP..

Pacesetter headers, no cat. 3 inch piping all the way to 80 series muffler.. my **** is TOOOO Loud for my liking.

do you have a link to that muffler?

    thanks

is your exhaust quieter when hooked up to your catback? mine stayed the same, if not a little quiter, when i hooked it up the my rumbler. i don't think my sound really improved much and overall i'm not happy w/ my headers. i noticed a little gain, but not worth the trouble i went through to install them.

where is your cutout? i'm thinking about putting one before my cat b/c open headers sounded awesome.

i dunno about the price...ive had it for a long time...i know i got it from summit.
the muffler is welded directl to the y pipe and the cutout is welded on the muffler then to the rest of the exhauist
