      "Ram air" systems usually do two things:
      1) Provide the car with a free-er flowing intake, and
      2) Provide a really small pressure increase in the intake at high speeds, which should improve your volumetric efficiency.

      Good breathing will improve your performance accross the board, but I doubt that you'd have enough speed at the end of 60 feet to get any "real" ram-air effect, but you may get a little increase at the end of the 1/4 mile. For most situations, I think a good cold-air intake will do just as well, though.
