• 93-97 exhaust onto a 98+???

I was thinking about getting a kit for my car that includes just a muffler, tailpipes, and tips that is made for a 93-97 V8. It has a 2.5" inlet, so I know I'd have to addapt that to the stock 2.25" I-Pipe, but what else prevents it from fitting a 98+??? Can I make this kit fit easily?? All help greatly appreciated!

The hangars have to be replaced, but it'll work.

Correct, and personally I think the 93-97 style hangers are better, more rigid.
