  • Finally got my exhaust on

Well I finally installed my Magnaflow cat back system the other day. Would you believe that the whole factory system was welded together. I had to that mid pipe in sections to get the muffler off. But all the hard work paid off after I started her up. Big difference from the factory exhaust. I was worried it migh sound raspy a little bit but its a nice deep sound the whole time. I do have to go back under the car though because somewhere a piece (I think over the axel) is ratteling. I'll get some sounds wavs tomorrow since I'll have the day off and post em up.

My over axle hits when I hit larger bumps or dips. It sucks and I had a shop cut my I pipe cause they said it was too long but now that i look at it the right tailpipe sticks out past the bumper while the left is still flush with it. I am waiting for a stock WS6 exhaust.

My magnaflow 3" doesn't hit, it was very carefully lined up with my supervision so that it wouldn't... Also, I installed a 18" dynomax bullet like grayman so it would definitely not rasp. The cool thing is, I can rev in idle and not rasp - amazing isn't it? :D

yeah my factory exhaust was welded to the the cat. converter so I used the factory s pipe since it is the same size as the one in the kit. Mine doesn't rattle either because we lined it up so it wouldn't not hard at all to do.

Well I installed into myself so thats a dohhhh on my part. I though I had it lined up right before tighting the clamps. It must have slide when I was adjusting the mid pipe because it had a exhaust leak. Still haven't fixed it yet but I will eventually. For now I'm just happy to have it on.
