I enjoy mine too, although many scoff at it on this board... then again I havn't had experience with the others to know the difference.

When you record your car, rev it up high. A lot of people on the board don't do that.

Darrel and I are the only ones I knew that had the FATC. Good choice, and welcome to the club.

true, revv it up high. i love how they sound down low too, but i must say i am one who "scoffs" at flowmaster. but its not like my opinion should matter, if you like how it sounds, then that's all that matters. either way, congrats.

I've had it and a high flow cat for over a year now. I still love the sound, but at times I wish it was a little bit louder. Putting a high flow cat on made it sound even more aggressive.

I plan on getting one, but keeping my 40 series on there, instead of the 80 it comes with.

Mine is OK too - I didn't want it too loud and the 2.5" system is just right for me. It sounds like a very healthy V6, and since I have the reflective black 3800 decals sides & rear I make it clear that's exactly what it is

Actually, there are a LOT of people on here with that exhaust. Including myself. :D

The reason people dont rev their cars a lot when recording the sound of the exhaust is becuase it sounds like crap. There is a lot of popping, but in a driving situation there is no such thing...at least thats how it is for me..

Hmm...I think i'll go record mine real quick...

I had it. I loved it until i got my headers on. Then it seemed like that 3.5k rasp lower to rapsy all the way around and hated it. So i switched to borla and love it. I noticed about a .2 of a sec of my et running open borla (check my posts about it)

I thought headers make it sound better? so the headers actually increase the rasp with the flowmaster?
