  • Can a Cold Air Kit and an SS Hood work together?

I got a SLP cold air kit and I just got my SS hood in. Will they both work together ok or will I need to block off the cold air kit?

    Thanks

depends where your ram air duct works lets out and your CAI is sucking in the air at. If its in the same spot game on, if not, well at least you have cold air going into your engine bay.

I remember someone on this board mentioning something about it, but I don't know for sure. Try doing a search.

if its the stock hood you can use it. with my hood i had an rksport airlid, a FTRA, and the cheap "ram air" the SS hood is supposed to give. so in essence i had all three. you shouldnt have to block off anything - the point is to get more air in.
save your money, do a swap and have a nice day. if you dont think its worth it, you are so mistaken.
