Fortunately car performance is a science. Everyone is entitled to their own set of opinions but not their own set of facts. The problem is no one has taken two stock Firebirds to a dyno and strapped a 2.5" and 3" catback on to find out the facts.

Theories versus anecdotes...we need an actual test that compares the differences between pipe diameter and nothing else.

If someone wants to pay for me, I'll dyno my car now then when I change to the 2.5" flowmaster I'll dyno it again and we can settle the dispute.

You guys buy some expensive exhaust systems!
My exhaust was $300 including labor to install lol high flow cat, 3", and flowmaster muffler
And headers were $300, installed myself. I kind of agree, its not a huge performance gain... but there is a little different there. Maybe not a $600 difference, but it sounds better [img]smile.gif[/img] And my manifolds were warped so it was an excuse to upgrade hehe.
